BEING BICULTURAL

·         Today the best known case is that of Venezuelans, who have their own culture but, by immigrating to other countries, have adopted and learned about this new culture. In other words, they coexist or interact in two different cultures. 

 

·         For example, a teacher working in an ethno-education program is bicultural, because he/she must appropriate the new culture in order to get closer to the population and thus be able to impart knowledge.
